Earlier this week, Scarlett Johansson defended Wооdy Allen during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Allen’s daughter, Dylan Farrow, was displeased with Johansson’s comments and criticized her on social media.
As a result, the 34-year-old Lucy star was seen trying to keep a low profile while walking through John F. Kennedy airport in New York City on Friday. Wearing a hat pulled low and sunglasses, she kept her gaze downward while leaving her flight.

At one point, Scarlett turned her head to laugh at a man walking beside her, but otherwise kept her eyes down to avoid attention.
Accompanying her was someone carrying a red-orange umbrella, already opened before heading outdoors.
Big interview: The starlet’s trip to the Big Apple follows an interview in which she revealed she doesn’t believe that Allen sexually abused his adopted daughter in the early 1990s.
Johansson, who has starred in three of Allen’s films, told the publication on Wednesday: “I love Wооdy. I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.”
In 1992, Farrow claimed Allen sexually abused her at the Connecticut home she shared with her mother, Allen’s partner Mia Farrow.
Her opinion: Scarlett has come out in defense of Wооdy Allen in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
At the time of the alleged abuse, Farrow was just seven years old.
A 1993 court case concluded that the allеgаtion of sеxuаl abuse had not been proven, and Allen has maintained his innocence to this day.
Dylan continues to stand by her allegations against Allen, reiterating that the abuse took place in a highly-publicized open letter in The New York Times in 2014.
Allen’s latest film, A Rainy Day in New York, featuring Selena Gomez, Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, and Kelly Rohrbach, has been shelved in the US.
However, Johansson says she has no regrets about working with Allen on three movies in the mid-2000s: Match Point (2005), Scoop (2006), and Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008).
Coming up, Scarlett will star in Jojo Rabbit with Rebel Wilson and Sam Rockwell, and in Black Widow with Rachel Weisz.
She will also lend her voice to the animated children’s movie, Sing 2.
Scarlett has one daughter, a 5-year-old named Rose, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
The actress was also previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
