Scarlett Johansson made a stylish appearance on Thursday’s episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show in a chic beige ensemble. During her interview, the actress shared her surprise when husband Colin Jost made a risqué joke about her body live on SNL.
“I blacked out for that part of the night. I actually don’t remember it,” Scarlett confessed. In the recent joke swap on SNL, Jost humorously remarked about OpenAI’s voice assistant, drawing parallels to Scarlett’s role in the film “Her,” where she voiced a virtual assistant.
Regarding Jost’s joke, Scarlett recounted, “I screamed as soon as my picture came up during that segment.”
The 39-year-old star looked stunning in a tan wool crepe vest by designer Mayte ($1,149) paired with matching flare-leg pants ($750), accessorized with gold rings, necklaces, and bracelets. She styled her dark blonde hair in loose waves and opted for a simple makeup look with smokey eyes and a pale pink lip.
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson, who recently sparked speculation about a crush on Kevin Costner, donned a tailored, long-sleeved yellow dress with cold buttons down its length.
During the interview, Scarlett jokingly described the nerve-wracking experience of hearing Jost’s jokes on SNL’s Weekend Update, where jokes are swapped between Jost and co-host Michael Che without prior knowledge of the punchline until live on air.
“We needed to go into witness protection that night. I am absolutely tеrrifiеd we’re gonna be targeted. It’s so bad,” Johansson quipped.
Scarlett also discussed her upcoming film “Fly Me To The Moon,” where she used her Hollywood status to help get the project made, emphasizing her preference for roles that depict fully-rounded female characters. In the rom-com, she stars alongside Channing Tatum as a marketing executive involved in a fictional moon landing scenario amidst the Apollo 11 mission.
“Fly Me To The Moon” is set to Һit theaters on July 12.
