Her highly-anticipated sequel “The Avengers: Age Of Ultron” is scheduled for release this week.
But Scarlett Johansson didn’t rely on superpowers to make an impression as she arrived for a taping of “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Monday.
The 30-year-old actress effortlessly exuded style in a fashionable coat and dress ensemble as she made her way to the appearance in New York City.
Scarlett, who became a mother for the first time just seven months ago, showcased her stunning post-baby body in a white dress adorned with subtle patterned cut-outs. She complemented the outfit with light brown leather heels and wrapped up in a matching cashmere coat.
Her short blonde hair was elegantly tousled, and she sported retro-style grey shades that complemented her natural makeup.
Clearly in high spirits, Scarlett smiled brightly and waved to her enthusiastic fans before entering the studio.
Undoubtedly, her appearance was part of the promotional efforts for her eagerly-awaited Marvel film. She reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, a character she has portrayed in three previous films: “Iron Man 2,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and the first “Avengers” film.
Returning alongside her are Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
The blockbuster sequel follows the monumental success of 2012’s “Avengers Assemble,” which grossed a staggering $1.5 billio𝚗 worldwide according to Box Office Mojo.
In “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the action-packed narrative begins with Tony Stark initiating a dormant peacekeeping program, only for things to go awry, compelling the Avengers to reunite. As they confront Ultron, played by James Spader, a menacing force determined to eradicate humanity, the fate of Earth hangs in the balance.
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” premieres in U.S. cinemas on Friday, May 1st.
