Lupita Nyong’o pays for her new $20M mansion with money she received from her new Channel ambassadorship project to give to her family

Lupita Nyong’o and Selema Masekela revealed their relationship yesterday. For the holidays, they bought a multimiℓℓio𝚗-dollar Los Angeles house.

Nyong’o and Masekela’s 2014 custom-built mansion cost roughly $4 miℓℓio𝚗. Topanga Canyon is a Malibu-San Fernando Valley unincorporated enclave.

The modern steel, glass, and cement construction with solar, backup power, home automation, and filtration systems is hidden behind a steel-gated road on nearly two acres of highly wooded ground at the end of a one-way street. Four bedrooms, five baths, and over 4,000 square feet of three-level living area with floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer ocean, hillside, and canyon views.

A fireplace-equipped living room with sliding glass doors to a big balcony and a wet bar-equipped dining room stand out. The gourmet kitchen boasts bamboo cabinetry, quartz countertops, an eat-in island, Viking, Wolf, and Sub-Zero appliances.

 

Highlights include an upstairs master retreat with a spa-inspired bath, soaking tub, and two-person jetted steam shower, a lower-level media/family room with its own entrance, another wet bar, and an ensuite bedroom utilized as an office.

A dining area, fountain, fire pit, and kitchen with a commercial BBQ are on the neatly planted grounds. Two-car garage and 20-car parking.
